Computer Hacking Tools.

One of the consequences of increased technology is the possibility of hacking. Hacking is a term used to refer to the process of unauthorized use of someone's computer. Hacking could be used to retrieve passwords, steal files, load different programs and basically take charge of one's computer.

Process
To get control of a computer, a hacker must first need to know the IP address and operating system. Incidents of hacking into computers that run Microsoft Windows are much higher because this operating system is common. In addition to this, there are plenty of known system weaknesses. Every operating system has weak points, which are known as bugs. Hackers systematically look for running programs of which they can take advantage.
Trojans
A Trojan refers to a kind of computer program that appears useful but in truth allows unauthorized access to a computer. It allows another person to save files without the consent of the owner, watch the user's screen and even take complete control of the computer. Although Trojans are not in the strictest sense considered to be a virus, they can infect the system through downloading. Once a Trojan is found, the hacker effectively has access to all of the content on the computer.
Social Engineering
One of the most common tools for hacking is called social engineering. This is a procedure in which personal information is obtained by tricking the person into giving it away. The hacker then uses the information to break into the system. Hackers often use phishing, an email that appears to come from a legitimate business asking you to verify information such as personal identification numbers and your home address. These emails usually also include a link to a fraudulent site. Once the hacker obtains information on the user, he can use this information to break passwords and other security systems and gain control of the computer.
Spyware
Spyware is computer software that allows another person to take total or partial control of a computer without the consent of the owner. It also is capable of getting information such as surfing habits, installing additional software and changing computer settings. One of its most tangible effects is redirecting the user to a different site when browsing the web. In some countries, the use of spyware qualifies as illegal and is punishable by law.
Protection One of the most effective ways to protect your computer against hackers is by using reliable anti-virus programs. These are designed to automatically scan new files that are saved onto your computer. It is important to regularly update this software to continue protecting the computer from newly developed threats. Furthermore, be careful when opening emailed attachments, particularly if they are sent by an unknown source. These could contain hacking tools.
